new engine fasteners

How important are new, as in arp, bolts when rebuilding. I have new rod bolts but how necessary are other ones like mains and heads. This is for a street 390 in 73 4x4 with a cam, headers, intake, mild head work. Not looking to push it past 5000 much.

I just used the ARP rod bolts. I think you'll be fine.

I used main studs and head studs as well as the rod bolts. But then again I was planning on seeing 6000rpm and 200hp shots of N2O on a regular basis.
