Hiding Electronic Ignition box?

Any ideas of good places to hide the ignition module in a 56 F-100? I want to keep the inner fenders and fire wall as clean as I can.

Up under the dash for one. Since the voltage is only 12V and current is very low there is no voltage drop problem.

I have a Duraspark ignition in my 56. I like the electronic ignition. I don't like the look of the big plug in connectors. I put about a 2' splice in the wires on the distributor. That put the ugly plastic connector at the bottom of the radiator support where I mounted the box. The box needs to have air flowing over it to keep cool. With the splice in the distributor wire (and not in the module wiring), if my module goes bad I can replace it without having to rewire the truck.

Heat is an issue for sure, but I would think under the dash is at least as cool an environment as the stock location under the hood. Even with the decreased airflow. Definitely make sure it is a handy location for a quick change out. I've thought about taking mine off the fenderwell. The plugs are just not tidy as Truckfarmer states.

I am using a Duraspark for a 289 motor and using the Che?y Hei module mounted to a polished aluminum plate mounted to the top of the intake manafold. Easy access heat trasfer and looks good. ed ke6bnl

I changed out the plug ends on the dist. side to bullet connectors for a cleaner look, but left the factory connectors on the module.
