Headlight Bulb Question

The right front headlight bulb burned out on my 89 Ranger. It is the type where you replace the bulb from behind the housing, has the harness connector and a retaining ring. My question and maybe it does not matter, but the original bulb shattered inside the housing and though I can see the glass shards through the lens at the bottom of the housing, how can I clean it out short of disassembly? If there were a flexible hose attachment to a shop vac that could handle a 90 degree turn maybe I could vacuum it out. How much work is it to remove the housing assembly??? Thanks

Don't know on your truck, but if you do take it out, be careful of the screws you turn. Some of them hold the light, and some of them are the light adjusters. I would try not to turn the adjusters if you can help it.
