Whats up guys? Just thought I'd ask if anyone knows the gapping for Auto Lite plugs. I got a 98 xlt w/ 2.5L 4x2. I just rolled 28k miles and figured it couldn't make it run any worse. Now she has got a little irratic shake about a second or two apart at idle. Kick on the a/c she purs like a kitten. I also replaced the fuel filter. That thing was full of brown crap when I blew threw it. I set the plugs at .030

Thanx CB. I think I gaped them a little to tight for the voltage coil puts out. I prabably deal with it till the weekend, get off the wallet and get the BOSCHE 4!!! No more gaping!!!! Later Bill

Yeah I gotta agree with Ken on this. I burned a set of Bosch Platinums up after 30k miles and had a miserable time diagnosing the problem until I put the Motorcraft Double Platinums back in.
Ran like a charm as soon as I did.
