The painted in may work best for the dogs as it provides more grip for them. However, the drop in may be cheaper and serve just as well. I got mine (drop in) at a wrecking yard for $40 so look around and see whats available.

I think I'm gonna go with a Plastic drop-in liner.... What type should I get??? I like the Load-Lok, but I'm sure it's a lot of $$$... I can get the Ford one for $165.00, but does it holdup well or does it warp really quick?

I had a Pendaliner in the 1989 since it was new, same for the 2000, with no problems. I put a different brand in the 2002 but I can't recall the brand, the only reason I switched was the Pendaliner was not in stock.
