I may end up being on my own on this communication breakdown and wonder if there is anyway to get heated seats in my luxury lariet F350?

 

Do you already have the F350, or is it on order?

 

If you have the truck, then it's not a cheap change. There was a topic on this a while back, and since the heated seats are wired into the heating system it requires a lot of changes other than just the seat itself. The seats are wired for heat before Ford gets them - it's not added in at the factory. If I remember correctly, this is the summary of the prior thread.

 

TDN, I have had the truck for about 2 weeks and thought I had heated seats(since I thought that I had ordered them)only to discover that I do not have them. So it sounds like that you cannot swap the seats out.?

 

Search the 'net for "heated seats." There are several after-market companies that offer them as a retro-fit; one of our guys here installed them himself in his car. Trust me, if HE can do it, it's not a difficult job!

 

Jeff, thanks for your reply. I have found a set over on the dieselstop that seems to get very positive comments. I also appreciate the comment on "if he can do it..." that is the part that has me hung up, but it sounds like it is doable, so I will take the plunge on behalf of my wife's backside. Thanks
