I would first like to thank Tim for his dilligence in eliminating the mediocre inflammatory threads that have been popping up this afternoon. I would love to say that I have gained invaluable informations in reading them but unfortunately neither my knowledge of the SD 6.0L, nor my linguistic abilities were improved. I was attempting to reply to the last defunct thread when as quick as it came, it dissapeared. So Thanks Tim!!!
For our current and future members, this forum is an invaluable tool LENT to us to discuss issues and share in our excitement or concerns regarding the ownership of our trucks. Being that the 6.0 family is such a friendly one, you will find all kinds subjects, even if they have nothing to do with the 6.0 directly. I can speak from a personal experience when I say that it has been a blast so far and for that reason I would respectfully ask to keep in mind the basic decorum of contributing to a public forum.
For those of you that didn't have the previledge of reading Darryl's post, take a minute and learn.
Hey twoballsleft, would you be so kind as to educate me on how you are able to make those emoticons??
Useless maybe
Inflammatory and disrespectful to our web host or our moderators NO
Informative to the average Joe most likely.
Claude
I don't make 'em I just use 'em...You need to use the"Post Reply" or the "go advanced" button instead of the "Quick Reply" area at the bottom of the thread...the Emoticons are in the tool bar at the top of the window...if you don't see the tool bar then you need to edit your options under user CP and change the "Message Editor Interface"
<FIELDSET class=fieldset><LEGEND><LABEL for=sel_showvbcode>Message Editor Interface</LABEL></LEGEND><TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>When postings messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.
Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.</TD></TR><TR><TD><SELECT id=sel_showvbcode style="VISIBILITY: visible" name=showvbcode> <OPTION value=0>Basic Editor - A simple text box</OPTION> <OPTION value=1>Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls</OPTION> <OPTION value=2 selected>Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing</OPTION></SELECT> <LABEL for=sel_showvbcode>Message Editor Interface:</LABEL> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></FIELDSET>
....click on the smily guy and have fun
