Squeaky Belt!!!! :-(
I have a 4.6 2004 XLT Supercrew with just over 1K miles on it. I noticed yesterday I have a small squeak coming from one of the belts in the Engine as I was outside of the truck when it was idling. Do you think if I were to buy some belt dressing that it would fix the problem? Or do you think I would have to go to the dealer for a look see?? Thank you! ~Matt

at about 2000 miles or so on my 5.4V8 my belt started squeaking really bad (main serpuntine/accessory belt). Belt dressing did nothing for it. I took it to the dealer and they put on new belt and its been fine ever since. Go see your dealer!

I had a problem with my 92 f250 with the belt squeeking. Replaced the belt, and all seemed good, until that belt developed problems. In the end, it looks like 1 of the pullies was just a little crooked.
