Explorer Light/Electrical Probs
'97 Explorer XLT with probs! Left and right turn signals work fine but when flashing, the display on the radio also flashes. Its worse when the headlights are on...the right turn signal still works fine, the left stays on all the time without flashing and also displays as a permanently lit turn signal on the dash. Local garage will 'invstigate' for minimum 2 hours labor but I'm hoping that this could turn out to be soemthing really simple that I could do myself. Anyone out there got any ideas?

the only way they could be related is the dash lights. If the combo switch don't fix it, pull the plug to the headlight switch and try your signals again, if they work replace the headlight switch.
