Yes you can, but be careful not to get the same set of boat anchor heads the 78's got. The D8OE heads had the largest combustion chambers of any of the numerous small block head variations ( 70 ccs) Why heads from a Stang? Which Stang? Just because they came off a Stang doesn't make em special, unless we're talking about the 69-70 Boss heads. The 87-up Stang heads are the same ones used on the 87-97 pickups ( E7TE's)
