Back on the Road

Well it took a few days but we finally got Donald's truck back on the road. The thing just died last week and didn't know why. Troubleshooting said it was the coil (nope) then it said the ignition module (nope) finally someone said to check the hall effect sensor, (yup) so all is back to working again and another 16 year old is back on the streets. Oh yeah and Dad is out some 200 bucks.

Consider yourself lucky Rollie at least you didn't spend some $1,700 on a vehicle just to turn around and TRY to sell it for $1,000.

Ah yes the good old days when everyone carried a points file in their vehicle. Wouldn't you just love to get your hands back into a dual point setup and try and adjust it correctly. How about being able to time a truck by ear. The simple days they were, now if you will excuse me I have to go take my metamucile. Then glue my dentures in.
