smoking

brand new rebuilt 390, brand new heads, it first started there was no smoke. Now after 100 miles it is smoking out of the left bank only. please help.

Could also be the head gasket...

the valve seals are new and I replaced head gaskets.

Is it the stock cam, or did you replace it with a higher lift one? High lift cams can eat stock umbrella type valve stem seals.
