Can you tell if it is coming from front, back, top, by the firewall?

it coming from somewhere near the firewall because it is going straight down on the exhaust when engine is running. There is no puddles in the driveway.

I would look at either a blown intake gasket - you should be able to tell if that is it - or look at the heater core hoses and see if they are leaking somewhere in the back.

Can you post what the problem actually was, please? I have a leak at the back of the engine that I can't find the source. Thanks!

Not to be confused with a "freeze" plug.

go to a radiator shop and have them do a pressure test.

could be the heater core or hoses.

My 1999 Limited has a coolant leak, not hitting the exhaust manifold, just a small puddle. it seems to be from the drivers side but I cant see where its coming from. Maybe I'll jack it up and take a good look.

My leak didn't hit the manifold either. My small puddle was on the passenger side. The shop did a pressure test on the system and found the source quickly. I wasn't able to see the source when I went searching for it. They are having to drop the tranny to get to them and replace.
