What model # is your buddy’s microtuner? What year is your truck? Also all programmers can only program one PCM at a time, so if your buddy unprogrammed his truck and the programmer model # is compatible with your year of truck then you can program your truck.

Like realhp said - he will have to return his truck to stock, and then you would be able to use it to tune yours. I think all the tuners are like this - they can only be used on one truck at a time.

O yea - they aren't stupid. They could have just as easily made it work on 2 or 3 trucks - but then they wouldn't be selling one to everyone!! They aren't gonna lose money if they don't have to!
