temperture question
my 1990 f150 had been not heating to operating temp so I replaced the thermostat with a stant brand at 195 degrees. That didn't work it stuck open right after I put it in so I replaced that one with a motorcraft at 192 degrees. The temperture now comes up just barely to the n on the normal range and the heat is not that hot coming from the heater. I do not think it is the sending unit because I put a temp gun on the thermostat housing when I was trying to run the stant and it was only reading about 125 or so. Do I have another faulty thermostat or do I have a more serious problem?
