86 Ranger 2.9L needs help.
My truck has EFI. Something is giving it too much gas at times. I've been told it's the M.A.P. sensor. If so where is it located? Repair manuel said it's on the firewall or enter fender well. What does it look like?

There are several things that could cause your problem, how have you determined that the MAP is the problem? Did you pull the codes and run the pinpoint tests? A defective fuel pressure regulator, intake/exhaust leaks and defective wiring can cause this problem.

Pull the codes, check for intake/exhaust leaks, next run it for a minute and then pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and look for gas, gas is bad, also check fuel pressure.
