Looking for some help. Purchased a 1999 F350 Quad long box, use with 60,000 m. Just the truck I've always wanted. Had it exactly 1 week and it was plucked from my driveway. I've got it back, thanks to light sleeping and an excellent police force, so help me hold on to it with miminal damage. I think this s"ithead will be back.

Get one of those "club" things and hang it on the steering wheel to start with. I have heard of some that connect between the steering wheel and the brake pedal. Or better yet the clutch pedal if you have a six speed. Then get a quality alarm system that disables the starter until deactivated. Wire in a remote switch somewhere that disables the fuel pump. The fuel pump is mounted on the drivers side frame rail, it would be a very simple matter to wire in the switch. If you have a locking strongbox in the bed of the truck that would be a good location. (And a good excuse to buy one.) So even if the creep saw you throw the switch he still has to break into the box just to be able to enable the pump. Yes he could wire the pump back up, but if he manages to get past all that and still get away, may I suggest a guard dog?
Winchester, Smith and Wesson, Colt, Ithaca, Remington, Beretta, Big Fooking Dog, Wheel Boot.
Fire Rooster
LOL!! That's what I was thinking. I think the Smith & Wesson handgun would do the truck. I'm not a big fan of car alarms, they are always going off and nobody seems to be bothered by them anymore. But I think a few rounds from a .40 caliber might get your point across.
How did they get into the truck to begin with? The SD door handles are known to be, shall we say, "less than optimal" for vehicle retention by its rightful owner....
yes, interested in how it got away the first time don't want that to me! I think fire has the best solution. However for a less extreme measure I remember reading back a couple of months ago about a plug in relay that deactivated the truck and then you can reactivate it buy a key fobe. It looked very interesting too.
