Nerf bars or Tuner.

If you need others to look at you in order to feel good about yourself, buy Nerf bars. If you want your truck to perform better, faster and stronger, buy the tuner. Being able to read engine codes when the 'check engine' light comes on is worth the cost of the tuner even without the performance modifications.

I would personally choose a tuner before nerfs. These new tuning units really change the characteristics of the trucks. I cannot imagine going back to a stock tuning after using my Motorhaven supplied Superchips (I tried for a gas tank....awful). Nerfs are definately a nice add-on, but I think you will be surprised how much more enjoyable a tuner will make your driving experience.

is your truck tall? are you short? i wouldn't buy nerf bars because i dont need them until my truck gets lifted im getting some though because i work at homedepot and carts with hundreds of pounds of concrete and bricks wrecked the side of my truck.
otherwise i would get the tuner, its nice to go faster.
