Resetting Error Codes

Hey!

I need to reset my trucks computer and erasethe error codes so the engine light will go off. I have an OBD II scanner that I use all the time to reset and clear 96 and newer vehicles. But I keep getting a link error in the truck.
Anybody know if they changed the OD convention again?

Yes they changed it. Your older tester will not work.You need a tester that can read a can-bus system.
