Cam sensor bad
Hey all. I have a second hand Ford F250 Diesel 7.3 that cam sensor went bad (well prgrammer came back with that code anyway) was driving it after it warmed up and it just died going down the road no power steering or brakes.its a 01 has only 36,000 miles. friend put programmer on it to get diagnostics code and it said something about cam sensor. I heard common thing to go out and wont run if it does. It will start but soon as it warms up she dies.Now is this covered under the 100L warranty or not? I am taking to dealer today but dont trust them guys to tell me under warranty or not.let me know what you all think or know?

well AAA would not tow truck . They said truck is to modified for them to tow on the AAA card but will tow it for 125$ for only less then 5 miles.LOL what *********s! Truck only is lifted 11 inches with 38's LOL I drove it to dealer it died 4 times buddy had to tow me out of intersections 2 times with rope with his same truck as mine.took us like 30 min to do the less then 5 miles. but we got it there! when it died on the way there we did read code PO344 and P0340 and P1000 the first 2 codes were cam sensor related P1000 says continue to drive vehichle not enough time for check.LOL I wish I could have!
