Question Mods or No Mods

My '94 F-150 has a 5.0 with about 160,000 miles on it, i was wondering if ti would be worth my time to put any mods on it, as of now it's all stock. i of coourse don't want to risk damaging the engine any, it still runs very strong for 10 yrs old, i was just thinking maybe boost the power a little. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!!!Thanks in advance!!!

there are mods you could do, but why not just build a new motor for it. it can be done fairly inexpensively. I rebuilt mine for around 300 bucks. I added some bolt ons (edelbrock intake and carb) for another 300 bucks. Check out PAW Supply they've got great prices. A cam is your best bet for power, but don't be too crazy or you may effect drivability.

I'm agreed with a full rebuild, simple mods to do along the way...new intake and exhaust (help it breath better), mild cam, maybe an Axcell Super Coil and performance wires.
