Before I start to remove the fuel injector and spark plug wires, can anyone recommend any handy tips. I've never taken the fuel injector off before and am kinda weary.
If you're pulling the head you don't have to remove the injectors in order to replace the head gasket, at least on the ones I have done. The main thing is the fuel line and that is not all that hard to uncouple.
Thanks for the note. I should of mentioned that I have a 97ranger XLT 4cyl. The fuel injector is right above the head cover and doesn't look like i can slide it out without completely removing spark plug wires the fuel injector or parts of and start unbolting.
If I do need to remove the fuel injector do you know of any sensors that i need to be careful with?
