Timing mark question

There is only one raised mark (I assume its the timing mark) on the crankshaft pulley on my 239 flathead.
For setting the timing properly, does the pointer and mark have to match perfectly?

What RPM?
Thankyou

Yes. Same as my 55 239 OHV that has a notch that must align with the timing pointer.

I put a tach/dwell meter on , and it said 10degree dwell at 1200 rpm

can anyone help as to what the specs are supposed to be for a 239 flathead?
