Building an engine is so much more complicated than building a computer. I don't even know what half this stuff is you guys are talking about. Is there a book or maybe a website that explains the science of these ford FE big blocks? It'd help in deciding what I want for my engine if I know what does what.
No, you must ask here. And as stated the Steve Christ book is a lighthearted folly about a man and his FE engine and a very good start. There are lots of engine buiding books and don't limit yourself to just one. You can pickup lots of handy tips, modifcations and secrets that apply to most engines and rebuilds from reading different publications. Check out www.cartechbook.com and see what you like for starters. Good luck and ask questions! G.
