Lost Throttle Kickdown
Truck: 86 F150 4x4, 302 EFI, AOD.
I drove my truck to run some errands today, and let it sit in the parking lot for about an hour. I returned, started it up and drove off - and instantly noticed that throttle kickdown was gone. I can downshift manually, and it will automatically downshift on deceleration, but if I floor it it simply will not kick down. The TV cable is/was properly adusted 6k ago, and the transmission seems otherwise OK. Fluid was changed at the same time, and it is still red and does not smell burned. Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening, and what I could do to fix it?
