Heater control valve?
I have a problem with the heater controls in my 92'. The truck's AC seems to work fine, however I cannot select heat. A friend and I discovered that the cable that runs from the heat selecter **** isn't connected on the other end. My question is, where does it connect to, so I can continue trouble-shooting the system. Unfortunately the information doesn't seem to be in the Chilton's. It was a California truck, so I'm thinking maybe the guy un-hooked it due to lack of need. Another question is, why would he have un-hooked it and what might I be facing? The cable came undone on my 86 too, by itself. Sucked having it stuck on heat in the summer! There should be a lever it pulls on under there somewhere. Mine was tward the middle of the dash on my 86.
