The 6.0 is a weak motor low end with stock tuning; due to the 4 valve design and VGT turbo, there is not alot to be done with this. The automatic transmission makes up for this by allowing slippage in order to get the engine into powerband, however as you already know that is aggrevating to do with the ZF-6 and causes wear on the clutch.
Since you have the manual transmission, I would certainly recommend a good hard look at the Edge Juice/Attitude module combo. The low boost is adjustable (which will help SIGNIFICANLTY with the low end power) and will by you 115 horsepower and 290 ft-lbs of peak torque- I can assure you that you will have no more complaints about low end power if you get one
Plus, with the automatic backdown, there is no worry of burning up the engine via high EGT's with the trailer.
