2002 Ranger Tires
Anyone know the largest tires I can put on a 2002 Rager Edge?
I am not worried about throwing off the speedometer, plus I have manual so I am also not concerned about the transmission.

probably something like 275/75/16 will fit ok no rubbing
maybe 285/75/16 with minor rubbing while turning sharply over bumps.
i guess it all depends i know that if you do the torshion(spelling) bar mod? where you raise your front end these should be possible.

I asked this on another board, and the consensus was that 31's should fit with minor rubbing at turning extremes, but would be a fine choice, 30's of course should fit with no problem. I think if you did the bar mod you might be able to fit in 32's that's what I wanted on my edge (2k2 as well) but decided to stick with stock for now.

you can squeeze 31s and as long as you behave yourself, they shouldn't rub. the torsion bar method is extremely simple, but in choosing to do so, you compromise the life of your front suspension. every turn of the bolt puts a little more stress on the components. i did it, and my front end sucks *** 6 months later, but i am about to ditch it all for a straight d44 anyway...:-staun

2 Things I disagree with
1)I have the new style XLT (looks like an edge)
and IT CAME WITH 31's and i have tons of room and Its TOTALLY STOCK
2)I have never heard of anyone else with problems with the torsion bar adjustment and why do you recommend it on one post then say it jacked up your truck in the next?
