This may sound pretty pickey to some of you but maybe someone will have an idea how to fix this problem once and for all. The 03 PSD that I traded for a month ago, every time I run it through the automatic car wash, the doors on the drivers side developes a squeak. Will not stop it unless I put a film of automatic transmission sealer on the door and frame seals. Good to go untill next wash job. Seems soft an pliable and does not leak a drop of water anytime. Only this set of doors are at fault, other side is just fine. Any ideas on how I could fine exactly where the problem is or what more could I do to elimate this problem showing up every time I wash it? For your info, the truck is past the 36k warranty period. Thanks
Yea - my passenger side does that too. Comes and goes - but it drives me BONKERS!! Makes me wanna rip my arm off and beat myself to death with it..... OK - not really - that may be the Yuengling talking. But it really bugs me too!! Love to know of a fix.
Hey CAT_man...May be we ought to trade doors? Maybe then at least one of us would have peace and quit all the time HE HE! I see you have an 02...now my 02 hasn't squeaked a day in it's life...go figure that!
