lean code 01 5.4????
I am working on an 01 expedition with the 5.4. My buddy drove through deep water and filled a couple of plug wells with water. I had codes for misfire cyl 2, 4 and lean on bank one. I replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the plug wells and boots and put a bunch of dielectric grease on everything.
That fixed the misfire code but the lean code (bank 1) came back. The only driveability issue is a slight hesitation or chuggle at low rpm in overdrive. Does anyone here have experience with this problem?

check the MAF sensor and the PCV might be flooded or ruined. my brother went muddin in his S10 and had same problem and turned out ot have sucked up mud and water into his intake and his broke the sensor wires in his maf.
