I have an '01 F250 Crew Cab 4X4 Lariat short bed. I've gotten to where the constant jolting is giving me neck and headaches. I have slightly oversized BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's. No lift kit. Are there any suggestions for a smoother ride? Tire or shock suggestions?
ANYTHING but the stock shocks !
Some have changed the stocks out at 100 miles !
I've had great results with Rancho 9000x adjustables set on settting 1 (the softest) and then airing my tires up to the max....
best of both worlds - nice ride and least rolling resistance for the best mpg...
Here's something I've heard LOT's of good comments about....
and DARN - they're on sale now....
I didn't want to spend any money before the house closing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how much a difference they make.I've heard them mentioned before, but have never heard a gppd or bad comment about them. Might give it a shot.

I put Bilstein shocks on my truck at 38,000 miles and the ride improved over the worn out OEM shocks. The swap took me less than 2 hours and I didn't even have to remove my tires.
Even with smooth shocks, it will ride like a truck... If you are having health issues based on the smoothness of your ride, I suggest you get one of the big Cadillac land yachts...
