we call ours killer whale. lol! its because of the paint. we have the twilight blue and silver, where the hood area is also painted the twilight blue (pre-90 xlt paint pattern). plus its extended... kinda looks like a killer whale. heh...
I love all the names...i, too have always named my vehicles. My '95 Aerostar is called "The Van Cliburn" (in honor of Van Cliburn, a young pianist from Dallas that shocked the world in the 60's when he whipped the Europeans in the most-famous Tchaikovsky piano competition and put Dallas, and America on the map as a world class musical power). My '89 Bronco: "Bronco Billy". My '83 diesel Cutlass: "The Gutless (no ooomph). My white '79 flat-nose Cutlass: "The Leche" (spanish for "the milk"), my '76 Nova: "Consuelo the Thunder Chicken". And my first car was a HUGE Ford LTD wagon..."The Battleship Texas".
But regarding my van...with the problems I'm having right now... I'm calling it the "...what the...?"

My sister nicknamed my van "The Toaster". It does resemble a toaster. Of course, she also nicknamed my Focus "The Egg", which is true as well ( It's a white ZX3 hatchback.)
