funny thing
did i say funny .i went to the main store east of san diego to chat with a tech about a used gear vendor that i was about to go look at just up the road from them .now comes the funny part, they inform me that if i dont get a adaptor with the gear vendor that i could nt get one from them and with the core in one hand id also need 750.00 dollars in the other hand for them.i ask what if it doesnt come with one and he said (no ticket no laundry) funny hun ! S.L.

That's strange! When I called Gear Vendor about different trans applications the adaptor was offered to me for "they said about $100" for different 4X4 trannys. This was about a year ago so I guess they may have changed policy.

thats not a monopoly. a monopoly is when you NEED the product, and only 1 company will offer it. In all honesty, its your choice to go with thier company, its just that they have developed thier product so you must buy adaptors from them, sad but true. just like a car manufacturer.

Which adaptor are you looking for? I have a C-6 one that I don't need, but may need to use as core for a T-400 one instead?
I feel the same way you all do! They have what you want and know it! If anyone is interested in the C-6 one, and can get or has a T-400 (GM) one, let me know?
