Does anyone have any recommendation on coilover vs. non-coilover 6" lift? is there a big difference in the ride? I know there is a big difference in price.
So I understand if not going to do much off-roading then stick with the non-coilover. BlkFrdf150, please give me some feedback on how your ride is compared to stock. Thanks all for input
I think it is better than stock. You will have a better turning radius. It has more of a truck feel, compared to the smooth ride most people are a custom. You will have more control of the truck on the road. I still do not have vibration or shimmy compare to some of the truck owners. I took the truck up to 90mph with no problem and set it on cruise control.
One thing to consider, it does make other car owners uncomfortable when you are next to them. You can not see the car if they are tailgating you, so if you have to stop suddenly they will meet my tailgate. At night your headlights will light up the inside of most vehicals, which they will usually change lanes to get out of your way
