Offer fine print help (Jeff?)
Specifically...
- what does 'not all incentives can be redeemed together' mean? does that mean i can't get the chash back and fmcc discounts with this?
- what does 'may not be combined with other private offers' mean? if i buy a loss leader unit advertised in the paper, will the dealer tell me that this was a 'private offer' that i can't sue the coupon with?
- When i use this, does the money come right off the top of the deal or do i get a check later?
- How is the dealer compensated for this?
- I'm assuming i should work my deal with my salesman and only present this once we have the details negotiated and we're starting to do the paperwork? true? recommendations?

You can get those 2, but you may not be able to add an additional private offer.
You're allowed one private offer per purchase. If you go X-Plan, then you can't get college grad or any other private offer.- what does 'may not be combined with other private offers' mean? if i buy a loss leader unit advertised in the paper, will the dealer tell me that this was a 'private offer' that i can't sue the coupon with?
Either way. You can assign it to the deal and the dealer gets re-imbursed, or you can elect to have Ford send you the check directly. You might be looking at a 1099 form if you elect to go with the latter.- When i use this, does the money come right off the top of the deal or do i get a check later?
You sign over the rebate, and Ford handles it from there. Don't worry about it.- How is the dealer compensated for this?
Not a bad idea, especially if you think the dealer might use it as part of the negotiations.- I'm assuming i should work my deal with my salesman and only present this once we have the details negotiated and we're starting to do the paperwork? true? recommendations?
