Turning radius
Does anyone know how much the coil springs in the front of the new '05 trucks are supposed to cut down the turning radius by?

my new 05 crew cab long bed turns about the same as my 03 crew cab short bed,,

Ok, thanks, I would be going from a '97 CC longbed to the '05. Its been awhile since I drove a short box. Didn't know if they advertised it cut xx inches/feet off of the turning radius or not. Of course any decrease is good on trucks this size.

Are the front coil springs only on the 4x4 models?

according to my ford spec book the 05 550 has a 18% tighter turning radius.

not sure on the smaller trucks, the 550 also has a wider from axle by 6"

The number I saw was 5.5' smaller diameter turning radius.

I know that my 05 350 CC DRW LB turns MUCH tighter than my 95 250 SC LB

Thanks, at 18% I was figuring it would be in the 5 foot range, thats pretty significant. I'm holding out for an '05 !

i make beds for the 550, i know the new trucks 05 i can drive all around the shop, as before it was stop turn back up ect.

I heard the 05 450-550 was cut down by 12'.
