exaust

i want to install 4 inch exaust is it better to run 4" from turbo or go with 3" down pipe then 4" rest the way its on a 02 psd

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to make some big HP, some of the programs state very clearly 4" downpipe required.
Personally I would go with as big as you can afford. All it's going to do is lower your EGT's that much more. And sound really cool to boot.

IMO - there's not much sense in putting 4" back from the stock 3" downpipe - the downpipe is still your restriction point, unless you're never gonna use a chip or tuner - then you'd be OK. Otherwise - get a 3.5" or 4" downpipe with your exhaust - that way it's done all at once. I would imagine it would be a big pain in the rear to try to add just a downpipe later on.
