Wiring dilema
I just purchased an LED light bar for under the tailgate of my 03 SuperDuty. The catalog says it will plub into the 4 pin connector (don't want to do this) or can be hard wired to the truck. What is the best way to do the hard wiring?

I have the standard light bar (not led ) I tied directly into the wiring harness at the frame (rear cross member )Drop the spare tire ,you will see it .depending on how you want the lights to work is how you will wire it
in the harness is a brown wire and black wire .Brown is +12 v for markers ,Black is - gnd.I have seen a few trucks wired for brake lights in that spot .Might not go over very good with DOT though!
