Rearend

i got and 300 inlinew six 4 speed with 9 inch 2.47 rearend now and i just got back from the junk yard and pulled and 9 inch 3.00 rearend................
what difference am i going to be able to tell ? thanx for all the help

17% more torque to the wheels, but higher rpm at speed.

you will feel the difference.

how is this new rear end going to affect my low end and my top end ?

Better take off, but lower top speed. My brother has o a 300 with the 3.55 and it does fine on the freeway, so yours shoud do good as well.
