what a waste
i just got off the phone with a guy thats near me, called him about a parts truck in the greensburgh area. he had a 79 f350 supercab 4x4 in the classifieds that hes parting out. i dont know what kind of shape its in, but he stripped the drivetrain for his 76 and now hes parting out the rest of the truck. this has got to be a really rare truck that would be quite awesome. its unfortunate the decisions some people make

It is a very rare truck. I actually called Ford last week and they told me that in 1979 only 1761 F-350 4x4 SuperCabs were built. Take into consideration it's the 1st and only year of that truck in that body style. Getting rarer by the minute. Something should be done with that guy...............

well, i just got back from looking at the truck, it's spent some time in pa and is originally a new mexico truck. its definately in very workable shape but is a little rough around the edges. the interior is completely gutted, he grabbed the axles and put them under his 76 highboy pulling truck and the tranny is going to another truck his dad has and he's got the cab sold. he said he likes the truck, but hes had his 76 for a long time and it comes first.

WOW, I guess I better not modify mine to the piont that it is not worth any money, so what makes these truck so special, I've seen a lot of F250 supercab 4x4's around here, mine started life as an origonal 1979 F-350 4x4 supercab with a 351M and four speed, D60's front & rear, but now it has a 75' cab ,auto tranny & divorce mount t-case, guess I don't have to worry about it to much, probably never sell it anyway, (though I've thought about it a few times)

im from monroeville, the guy was from new stanton by where green gate mall was. he's parting it right now, pretty much all sold except the bed. send me a PM, if you want more info or the guys number
