Here's a tip, Vampiro. One of the best ways to become a good speller is to become a voracious reader. Seeing how words are spelled will help you to spell them. You don't have to read the dictionary! Just read good books, newspapers, magazines, etc. It will also help with grammar. And DON'T GIVE UP! Remember, Einstein was once labeled as stupid and unteachable. Hang in there!
i aint gonna give up. thanks guys. now time to go to summer school. oh well. it aint all that bad. it's only like 3 weeks out of my summer and for only a few hours.
and now to take up flyboys suggestion. im gonna go find a few good mags and a good book!
Vamp, Do you have the spell check turned ,when you send e-mail?
It works as a teacher too.

well my girlfriend is having a worse weeek than you, her dad is dieing within the next day or two, because cancer ate through his artery. I'm stuck in a position where i care a lot about this person but due to our age and my only being a boyfriend don't know what to do, or what's even appropriate. Do ya'll have any advice on this? I try and let her know that i'll be there for her no matter what but i don't think it sinks in because i've been trying to let her know that since we met, and she still hadly takes me up on the offer. I feel this yearning to help, but don't want to overstep my boundaries?
Having been through this myself years ago, The only thing I can suggest to to be a Good Listener.
Sometimes it's easier for people to grieve until it becomes easier to accept,by having a sounding board to talk to and vent their feelings.
Don't be distant, and try not to be over-bearing.
This is devastating to the family and a lot of emotions will be flowing through her viens for some time.
Act responsibly and everything should be fine.
