Holley Truck Avenger Carbs any good?
I'm usually not a big fan of Holley but their new carb (Truck Avenger) caught my eye. It's supoposedly able to do hill climbs of 40 degrees and sideslopes of 30 degrees without stumbling or sputtering. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of how well they do work, or don't work.
I'm planning a engine swap, a 302 with a C4 into my 88 Trooper. I'd like to do fuel injection but the carb would be ten times easier for me. That and this is a trail rig occasional around town type of rig so gas milage isn't a concern.
Does anyone else make a good truck carb that can be used in a truck that will spend it's time in the mountians and not spit and sputter. The Holley looks like a winner but it's just over 400 bucks, wow!
Thanks,
Joe
