is the f 150 tail light sockets the same as the bronco because i need to splice some new ones in because my tailpipe had a loose clamp and it twisted up so the hot exhaust went into the body and along the wires and melted the insulation and the sockets and the rear of the tail light lens ( i already had some spare lenses) just need to know some option when i am looking for the hew parts?
also i am planing on putting a 6 inch lift on and with 35 and there i do a bit of highway driving what would be the best gear ratio i was thinking around a 3.89 would this really screw with my torque curve I have a 302 bored 40 over with a rv cam?
4.56:1 gears are recommended for the stock 302's powerband, so I think 3.73 or 3.89 would still be a tad underpowered in your case. Do you know the actual Hp of your motor, or at least have an estimate? You should be able to go the math with one of the many formulas from there.
