04 psd sd extra wires
On the left side of the engine compartment there are 4 wires-1 red, 1 white, 1 black and 1 blue- extending out of the thick wire harness nearest the firewall.
I'd like to what they are for.

Those are just there in case you want to add something that you have to run wires through the firewall for. Rather than you drilling a hole to run the wires Ford has already done it. The other ends of the wires are taped to a wiring harness near the park brake pedal under the dash.
