My recently purchased '94 F350 was manufactured in 3/94. The turbo cover says "Direct Injection". I was under the impression that factory DIT's weren't produced until after mid 94 and that anything produced in early 94 was a IDI. What's the deal?

Yes, it is a 5 spd. And it does have the fule filter under a black cover. So... it looks like they started putting in DITs in March of 94.
