Air cleaner box
How do you put the air cleaner box back together on a 01 F-250 S.D.? I was just going to change my filter today and i noticed that someone had not put it back together right. (I bought this truck used and the former owner had all the service done at a Ford dealer!!) Only one of the 3 tabs next to the fender was in the slot(only slightly).And the other end was not down all the way it was up on the two fingers(for a lack of a better term) instead of between them and the bottom of the air cleaner box. I got a new filter and i can't get back together any better. Do you need to remove the hose that goes to the turbo from the box before putting it back together so you can tilt the cover up and slide the tabs into the slots all the way?
