AQHA rebate

This is my very first post. I'm thinking of buying a new super duty. My present truck is a chevy and I had a GMC before that and all fords before that. I was always happy with the Fords(I still have an Escape and a Mustang) but I liked the Silverado look. Now that they have decided to put those slanted headlights on there trucks it is time to think about a Ford Super Duty which looks like a real truck. I am not eligible for any plan but I am seeing something called AQHA rebate where I have to join something to be eligible. I did the search but couldn't find any info on how to join. Any help would be appreciated.

AQHA is the American Quarter Horse Association. You need to be a member for 30 days before you use the discount. Join the association at www.aqha.org and print out the temporary card, within that 30 days you'll get your regular card. Then when you buy your truck tell your sales person you are a member and they'll need to have you sign a form and then your set. I got mine, check is on the way.

Guess what? I honored an AQHA rebate after exactly 30 days, and Ford denied it! They say you have to be a MEMBER for 30 days, THEN the dealer can apply for the rebate. So it's actually 31 days. And I'm out $500........

That's good to know. I'm sorry you are out the 500. So the dealer takes the 500 off the deal?

Jeff that bites, any chance of recourse on your part as a dealer? Good of you to honor it for the customer, but hard on you as a salesguy. Though I can say few dealers wouldn't have called the customer back and said sorry no go, so you earn massive bonus points in my book.

Are you eligible for any other rebates? If you are, check with the dealer to make sure they're compatible with the one for AQHA - not all of them are. Just a thought before you join................
