Tapping Noise

I have a tapping noise coming from the carb area. ive heard it several times,even when the vehicle hasnt been ran for 12 hrs or more there is still a light tapping noise?
any clues??

I just replaced my cracked exhaust manifold and the leak sounded like a tapping. maybe check that?
