Just installed 4" lift and 325- 20's. I had a little drift
before. But now it's really magnified. I put dual stab.
on. I had the front end looked at. The tech said nothing
worn out, looked good and tight. He's thinking power
steering pump. Do 250's and 350's have the same pump. I tightened the steering box about 1 full round.
No results. This truck only has 26,000 miles. I need
help.
What i mean is when your going down the road with
the steering wheel straight the truck wonders from
left to right. Kinda hunts the grooves in the road.
It might be in your tires. I had this problem with a brand new set of michelins. The tires may be flexing in the tread not the sidewall, in which case it should get better as you wear them down. You might try adjusting the tire pressures and see if it makes any difference.
