New Ranger interchangability

Hi All, new to the site and I hope you can help. I have to reconstruct a 2001 Ranger that was demo'd by the dreaded "brother-in-law" and I need to know what year frames interchange. The left front is bent pretty good and I need a donor vehicle. What's the range I should be looking for? He's a certified welder and I'm an average DIY'er(I like to think above average ) Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!
Jeff

1998 or newer frames would be the same, as long as they are both 4x2 or both 4x4, what ever your vehicle is. 97 and older would not interchange due to the SLA suspension changes in 98.

The frames on the newer rangers are not fixable. They are designed to be damaged once and thrown away. I tired to buy a crossmember for a 2000 and ford don't even stock the item. To get a crossmember you have to buy a whole frame. That is why there are so many rangers that are involved in accidents that are totalled instead of fixed. It is too expensive to replace the frame.
